03.07Power Rangers “Cosplay” Costumes
Power Rangers and Super Sentai fans, have you ever tried to find a store that sells helmets and masks for your favorite power rangers or sentai character? In the US, there is one main licenser who sells the cheap thin children power rangers costumes with the flimsy face mask but those are just made for one time use during Halloween. Of course parents are not going to pay $600 for a Halloween costume so there isn’t exactly a mass public demand for “supreme” edition Power Ranger costumes. But if you are reading this, you are probably one of those adults looking for such a costume. Since you are a rare demographic of such product, there are a few independent sellers who make and sell handmade “Cosplay” quality Power Ranger and Sentai costumes.
The photo on the left is an example of a handmade customized Red Power Ranger Sentai helmet from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers or Kyoryu Sentai Zyu Ranger (translated as Dinosaur Squadron Beast Rangers).
